Educational Background

I love to learn!

Masters

I want to keep improving my teaching practice, and thus I am pursuing my masters in Physical Activity, Health, and Well-Being in the Classroom through LaSalle University. I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes and putting my learning into practice in the classroom.

Undergrad

I began college at Rosedale Bible College where I studied Bible and Counseling.

I then transferred to community college, and then to Millersville University. With the credit going to God, my parents, and my other educators, I graduated summa cum laude in 2021.

Grade School

Prepare to be surprised- I was homeschooled from PreK- 12fth grade. My siblings and I went on fieldtrips, raised animals, dressed in costumes to learn, and did much of our reading and science lessons with our pets and outside. Please see glimpses of our learning below!

You might wonder why I decided to be a teacher when I never actually “attended” grade school. However, I believe that my home education gave me curiosity, self-motivation, and the desire to learn. As the oldest of eight, an older cousin, and someone who was frequently asked to help with childcare at churches, I developed a love for children as well.

Wherever I am, I find joy in learning and interacting with children. Teaching binds the two, so the profession was a simple choice!
